We have some lofty goals to improve the property, a mobile home park with 225 lots, and as new owners, we are looking for an individual who believes in being proactive, doing things the right way the first time, providing top of class customer service, and those who are goal-oriented task masters! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper with Maintenance Skills to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our manufactured home park in Texas. This role will primarily focus on groundskeeping (80%) with light handyman duties (20%) to ensure the park is well-maintained and provides a safe, welcoming environment for residents. Responsibilities Groundskeeping (80%)
Perform routine landscaping, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including common spaces, pathways, and parking lots.
Inspect and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper water flow.
Oversee seasonal upkeep tasks, such as leaf removal and snow clearing (if applicable).
Manage trash and recycling collection and disposal across the property.
Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues on the grounds.
Handyman Duties (20%)
Perform basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting.
Address minor maintenance requests from residents, such as fixing doors, faucets, or light fixtures.
Assist with inspections of homes, communal buildings, and amenities to ensure functionality and safety.
Coordinate with contractors for complex repairs and larger maintenance projects as needed.
Maintain inventory of tools and supplies required for routine repairs and upkeep.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, with basic handyman skills.
Skills:
Knowledge of lawn care equipment and techniques.
Basic repair skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Ability to operate machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to use online task management software.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing manual labor for extended periods.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass background check
